The date of our opening concert-October 15th – seems a long way off, but many of you may still be wondering what CMSU’s upcoming season looks like.

As usual we have gathered some of the best and the brightest of chamber ensembles to play for you,. Those who thrilled to hear Utica’s own Peter Wiley, cellist, in concert with pianist Anna Polonsky this past March should know that our opening concert features the AYA Piano Trio who studied extensively with Peter at the Curtis Institute of Music.

Then on November 5, 2023 we welcome  “one of the most sensational ensembles of the younger generation” the Aris String Quartett from Germany.

For the dark days of January, the Kenari Saxophone Quartet will brighten the stage with a considerable change of sound!

Our second piano ensemble of the season, the ATOS Trio, arrives in March. They are recipients of the third Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award of which CMSU was a founding presenter-participant.

The season ends on April 7, 2024 with the revered Shanghai String Quartet that for two years was unable to perform for us as planned thanks to the disruptions of the pandemic. We’re more than excited to at last welcome the quartet for what promises to be a memorable concert!
