LATEST NEWS

Join us, IN PERSON or VIRTUALLY,  for our 2022-23 season of five Sunday afternoon concerts!  To the delight of artists and audience alike, live concerts returned to our stage last season and will continue, but we also intend to provide a live-stream link, for those who prefer to watch from the comfort of their homes.

In a concert not to be missed, renowned cellist and Utica native Peter Wiley returns to his hometown on March 26 for a duo performance with pianist Anna Polonsky. Their dream-of-a-program includes works by Beethoven, Schumann, Barber, Mendelssohn and Franck. For program details and links to the artists’ own websites, please refer to the Upcoming Events page of this website.

Curtain time for both is 2:30 PM.

For the finale of our 2022-23 season on April 30th, CMSU presents the Verona Quartet . Prize-winners of the 2020 Cleveland Quartet Award, this young and accomplished ensemble will perform three Bs: Bartok, Bacewicz and Beethoven. And on the day following our concert, they will give an outreach program at Clinton Central School.

All concerts are performed at:

The Sinnott Family Bank of Utica Auditorium
Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute
310 Genesee Street, Utica NY.
