With eight artists to perform for CMSU, the ensemble lists more than fifty young professional musicians,
representing an enormous diversity of highly talented classical music backgrounds, all committed to carry out America’s
Dream's intent. Founded in 2003, its mission is to “change the face of chamber music by enlivening its future,
presenting…music in a renewed and energized manner, making it approachable and enjoyable to all kinds of audiences…by
removing the formality of the concert hall and replacing it with a more personal relationship with the audience.”
They will present a fresh, new, polished modern image (sans traditional concert garb) to appeal to those who might
not normally attend a concert of classical music, while still presenting the traditional and newer repertoire.
The usual program notes will be provided from the stage. ADCA has been featured in Chamber Music and MUSO magazines
and on WQXR.
