Winners of the second Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award (KLRITA) in 2005, Trio con Brio
Copenhagen has proven itself to be “an accomplished, extraordinary promising young and rising piano trio” which
is a specific requirement of the Award. The three young artists have claimed firsts in the most prestigious international
competitions: Premio Vittoria Gui Firenze, Tronheim Chamber Music Competition, Danish Radio hCompetition Copenhagen,
and “Allianz-Preis” given for the best ensemble in Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The KLRITA is given to honor
the extraordinary contributions to chamber music by the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio and is funded, in part,
by CMSU and 19 other chamber music presentors nationwide. The Trio’s first CD (Ravel, Block, Dvorak) is on the
Azica label.
