ANNOUNCING 2025-26 SEASON!
CMSU celebrates its 85th anniversary
with a series of six concerts - each with a local
connection, plus two receptions and three School Outreach Programs.
Our opening concert on October 19th presents Trio Casals whose program includes a composition by Diane Jones, known to many through WCNY FM radio station.
The Neave Trio returns to our stage on November 23rd with a new commission by Jennifer Higdon, partially funded by CMSU.
Old friends from down the road in Rochester, the esteemed Ying Quartet, will join us for the fifth time on January 11, 2026.
On February 8, local-born cellist Christopher Costanza, who has performed for us singly and with the St. Lawrence String Quartet, will be joined this time by
Anne-Marie McDermott on piano.
March 15th brings back area native Will Knuth, violin, and Adam Levin, guitar, who broke our box office record with their Duo Sonidos concert in 2016.

Locally connected Peter Wiley, who thrilled our audience in 2023, will perform the final concert of the season on April 26, 2026 as part of the Polonsky-Shifrin- Wiley Trio.
CMSU sponsored School outreach programs for grade-school, middle-school and high-school students will be performed in October by Trio Casals, in November by Neave Trio and in January by the Ying Quartet.
